What is Mbbs(Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery:-

MBBS is an undergraduate, first professional degree in medicine. MBBS courses are designed to train students in all fields of medicine.

The courses include Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Applied Medical Biochemistry, Applied Pharmacology, Human Pathology, Human Microbiology, Otolaryngology, Dermatology, Pediatrics and even General Surgery. Although it varies between countries, a MBBS degree is typically completed in 4 and a half years. In most countries, the student is required to complete an internship before being awarded the degree in order to demonstrate sufficient exposure. This is so that the students have a qualified amount of practical exposure.

The names and abbreviations given to these degrees depend on the institution, awarding body or country, and vary widely. This is mostly for reasons of tradition rather than to indicate any difference between the relative levels of the degrees. They are considered equivalent.

ان ڈگریوں کو دیئے گئے نام اور مخففات کا دارومدار ادارہ ، اعزاز دینے والے ادارے یا ملک پر ہوتا ہے ، اور بڑے پیمانے پر مختلف ہوتے ہیں۔  یہ زیادہ تر روایات کی وجوہات کی بناء پر ہے بجائے اس کے کہ ڈگریوں کی نسبتہ سطح کے مابین کوئی فرق ظاہر ہو۔  وہ برابر سمجھے جاتے ہیں۔

Progression:-

Medical school graduates are only entitled to use the courtesy title "Doctor" upon registration as a medical practitioner with the relevant regulatory body in their respective country. Medical graduates are eligible to sit postgraduate examinations, including examinations for membership and fellowship of professional institutions. Among the latter are the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons, postgraduate master's degrees (such as a Master Surgery or Master of Medicine), and a postgraduate doctorate in medicine (such as Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Science.
